This former watermill’s wheel was turned by the River Ajon, and it nestles in a greenery-filled landscape. A charming valley carved out by the river leads to a pond where you can fish or row a boat. A few horses graze in the meadows, under the apple trees. The old watermill has been completely rebuilt but retains its good looks with its walls made up of large light-coloured stones, its blood-red window frames and its slate roof. In the large entrance hall is a huge wooden table that can seat 24 people, where breakfast and evening meals are served, opposite the open fire burning in the hearth in a monumental fireplace. The table is prettily laid and welcoming, with its coloured tableware, candlesticks and prettily presented food. Claudine and Pierre obviously enjoy welcoming, spoiling and surprising their guests. Despite their other jobs, they are always available to help their guests with an elegant smile. Upstairs are the four beautiful guest rooms, which offer every comfort for your wellbeing. The furniture, fabrics and bedlinen have been selected with care, and the bathooms are attractive, with twin jacuzzis in two of them and twin hydrojet showers in the other two, which will tempt you to linger there. A top-quality address for a relaxing and charming stay.
