Next to the Robertville lake

The Hotel des Bains has plenty of trump-cards up its sleeve, not least its perfect situation on the edge of the Hautes Fagnes plateau next to the Robertville lake. This long-established and well-known hotel has been taken over by a young couple who have worked in the hotel and tourism industries elsewhere. Full of enthusiasm and expert knowledge, Elizabeth and Jean-Pierre Robert-Rey have transformed this old Ardennes house into a charming small hotel and well-being centre. Most of the rooms overlook the lake, some have balconies and lounge area, and all are very comfortable. The large dining room has an open fireplace and opens through into the lounge and bar. It overlooks the lake and the garden. The chef's cooking is simple, light and exquisite. Other opportunities for relaxation abound: sauna, Turkish bath, infinity jacuzzi, indoor swimming-pool, wooden terrace, garden and lake. Nearby are Reinhardstein, the Fagnes, Eupen, Malmédy and Montjoie, which are well worth a visit.
