Like most of the Netherlands, the province of North Brabant (Noord-Brabant ) is flat. Most of its inhabitants are concentrated in cities, and the countryside is very sparsely populated, although intensively farmed. The richly varied countryside includes hills, forests, heathland and dunes. The Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park has been nicknamed the “Brabant Sahara”. The River Meuse forms the province’s northern border and the Meuse delta is in the Biesboch National Park. Bois-le-Duc (Den Bosch - ‘s Hertogenbosch) – Breda.
