The green mountainous countryside of the Drôme in Provence is certainly charming, with its hilltop villages, its traditional fermhouses buried in vegetation and its ever-present old wash-houses and fountains. The old wash-house in Lauzon gave its name to this very pretty B&B that has been recently renovated with great good taste and sophistication.

The owners have thought of everything their guests’ comfort and wellbeing would require. There are many places to relax: in the garden, by the infinity pool or in the wellbeing centre with its Turkish bath, jacuzzi, massages and beauty treatments. The five guest rooms and suites each have their own style – Provençal, Baroque, Colonial, etc - and their names are all Provençal words linked to wash-houses: “La Bugade”, “La Gadouié”, “Le Lavo Bugado”,”Le Bacèu” and “Le Tinèu”. The owners, who are both interior designers, have chosen pale hues of grey, blue and beige for the walls and pretty fabrics for the curtains, cushions and bedspreads, not to mention the furniture and ornaments picked up here and there. In the evenings, after aperitifs, your hostess offers her set-menu dinners, created in her pretty, old-fashioned kitchen with produce from her own kitchen garden or the local market. A very beautiful address where everything will combine to offer you a top-quality experience.
