This beautiful, traditional Norman-style villa is set in the midst of a large wooded garden, and has been converted into a cinema-themed guest house, located not far from the home of Maurice Leblanc, creater of the fictional detective Arsène Lupin. Guests can choose from rooms named "Some Like It Hot", "The Mystery of the Yellow Room", "Out of Africa" and "The Lady and the Duke", while "Life Is A Miracle" will be ready soon. Each room is decorated with mementos of the film, its director or stars, or according to the theme of the film. These themes are obvious when you consider that Jocelyne and Jean-Pierre ran "La Cloiserie des Lilas", a Parisian restaurant that was very popular with film directors, actors and writers, for many years. Add to this their obvious mania for collecting film memorabilia, as well as miniature and full-sized cars, and you can see why the themed decoration works so well. Of course, guests can also enjoy films on DVD in the evenings, from a large collection. And if you’re in luck, you can attend the projection of a film onsite at a meeting of Jean-Pierre’s cinema club. Etretat is best known for its dramatic cliffs, but it also offers opportunities for walkers, sailors or golfers.
