Located on a hillside overlooking Saint-Céré, Villa Ric enjoys superb views along the Dordogne valley. This small hotel-restaurant has recently been changed into a B&B offering evening meals. Jean-Pierre Ric, a professional restaurant manager, opened his first restaurant nearly 30 years ago. Today he still works in his kitchen and now offers, exclusively to his guests, gastronomic “gourmet evenings” with dinner, bed and breakfast included. The meals are served at small tables in the dining room or on the terrace. The five guest rooms upstairs have a fresh, cool atmosphere, with their pastel colours and wicker furniture. Some are larger and have small lounge areas, others overlook the valley. The house is an ideal place for a relaxing stay with gourmet food, with its shady terrace, its luxuriant gardens down the hill and its beautiful heated swimming pool. Its location at the heart of the Causses du Quercy National Park, between the River Dordogne and the River Lot, means there are many local tourist attractions, including Rocamadour, the Padirac chasm, some beautiful chateaux and some of the ''Most beautiful villages of France''.
